Formula and method

Emitters = plants × emitters per plant × (1 + spare%). Round emitters and packs up.

Whole packages and pieces are rounded up. Results disappear when an input changes until the new values are calculated.

Worked example

Plants 48 plants; Emitters per plant 2 emitters; Spare percentage 10 %; Emitters per pack 50 emitters. Results: Emitters to order 106 emitters; Whole packs 3 packs.

Limitations

Emitter flow, water pressure, plant needs, spacing, and irrigation scheduling require a separate design.
