Formula and method

Cut width and height each add twice the margin. Multiply cut area by screen count; divide by roll area and round rolls up.

Whole packages and pieces are rounded up. Results disappear when an input changes until the new values are calculated.

Worked example

Screens 4 screens; Clear width 24 in; Clear height 36 in; Extra margin on each edge 2 in; Roll width 36 in; Roll length 25 ft. Results: Cut area 31.11 sq ft; Whole rolls 1 rolls.

Limitations

Check that the mesh roll is wide enough for each cut. Area alone cannot guarantee that all pieces fit on a roll. The mesh roll must fit the cut width.
