How to use this calculator
- Replace the example values with your own measurements or planning assumptions.
- Keep every value in the unit printed beside its field.
- Select Calculate and review the result together with the formula and limitations below.
Formula and method
Advance one calendar day at a time in the selected direction. Count Monday through Friday and skip the entered number of additional weekday holidays.
Results are hidden whenever an input changes or validation fails, so an old answer cannot be mistaken for a current calculation.
Worked example
Start date = 2026-10-05; Workdays to move = 10 days; Direction = add; Weekday holidays to skip = 0 days. The calculator returns Result date = 2026-10-19; Day of week = Monday; Calendar days moved = 14.
The worked example uses the same default values displayed in the calculator.

Frequently asked questions
Can this calculate a due date ten workdays away?
Yes. Enter the start date, choose Add workdays, and enter 10. Add the number of relevant weekday holidays separately.
Why might the real result differ?
This is not a jurisdiction-specific legal calendar. Holiday placement is modeled as extra skipped weekdays, so verify actual holiday dates and official filing rules.
How should I round the answer?
Keep extra precision while planning, then round up when purchasing whole containers, bags, pieces, or stock lengths. Follow the output labels and supplier packaging.
